My Secondhand September ❤

It was fun to be back in a creative environment (Sparks Bristol) and the enthusiasm pushed me to make more effort in what my original passion was; secondhand clothing and styling. Working from home alone (and especially after covid), i didn’t have a real need to get ‘dressed up’ anymore. I’ve always loved scouring the local charity shops and my suppliers for vintage clothing for my business, however it inevitably ended up being a way of filling out the gaps in my own wardrobe and a lot of it I hadn’t worn in ages.

Secondhand September is an amazing campaign by Oxfam to encourage people who might not necessarily shop secondhand, to branch out into it and include pieces of clothing in their wardrobe they might never land on.

It’s a great way to get creative and to share outfits and ideas with like minded folks on social media!

Here are some of the outfits I put together for the campaign this year. I incorporated secondhand, vintage and clothes I already own!
